POSITION SUMMARY:
Works with implementation, client service, carrier relations, continuous improvement and service operations teams to perform administrative and client support duties within a service center environment. Performs administrative duties and service support functions. Acts as a critical link between the carrier partners and the client service teams through effective communications, both verbally and in written format. Escalates problems and issues appropriately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sort, scan and distribute incoming mail and parcel packages (Federal Express, UPS, etc.) within defined SLA. Provide assistance with shipping as needed (i.e. shipping, receiving and distributing packages, etc.) Work closely with carrier relations team to eliminate unnecessary mail received from carrier partners. Maintain appropriate records and logs of mail received and sent. Report weekly volumes of mail scanned, shredded, and received.
  • Contact carrier partners to aid in revenue reconciliation. Work with partners to define broker of record status, premium payment, and commission due. Collect and track unpaid commission from the carrier. Update the operating system to ensure carrier and broker data is the same.
  • Work with the carrier relations team to gain access to carrier partner websites. Reconcile our book of business with the carrier's book. Update appropriate client records and communicate changes to the client service teams.
  • Scan, log and file commission statements. Maintain check log and send checks to the appropriate lock box.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as providing support to leaders and department as required (i.e. aid in event set-up and take-down, basic runner duties, printing large format documents, organize special client mailings.)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year equivalent experience in a call center environment

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred - General Studies
