The Global CLOUD PLATFORM Enablement Office is responsible for ensuring SAP’s field organization has the knowledge and know how to meet and exceed CLOUD PLATFORM related revenue objectives.   This includes working with multiple global and regional stakeholders to define, build and maintain curriculum across multiple learning modalities (e.g. in-person, online, virtual), manage global and regional programs, including the yearly Field Kick Off Meeting (FKOM), monitor consumption/impact of enablement and optimize programs to improve performance results.


The primary purpose of the CLOUD PLATFORM Enablement Lead is to consistently plan and execute sales enablement and sales awareness programs on the CLOUD PLATFORM Solutions portfolio for all SAP Regions. The CLOUD PLATFORM Enablement Lead will actively drive sales awareness of CLOUD PLATFORM across all Sales Specialists that sell CP.  This role requires strong communication, education and program roll-out experience to engage with key internal stakeholders within Field and Services Organizations, leveraging effective relationships with GCO University and other global training and GTM entities. We are seeking an experienced sales enablement resource responsible for driving CLOUD PLATFORM strategy with defined awareness and education programs in order to drive impact on pipeline growth.  Goals will be measured by number of trained sales people and by growth in pipeline. In order to accomplish these goals, this sales enablement specialist must develop specific enablement and awareness programs to ultimately support growth in strategic CLOUD PLATFORM revenue streams, including the partner channel.


  • Work as part of a global team to lead all CLOUD PLATFORM Sales enablement activities across all regions
  • Design, build and implementing global and regional enablement programs that are highly complex based on diverse regional requirements, number of resources involved and target learner audience needs.
  • Design, build and maintain core elearning curriculum for all CLOUD PLATFORM AE Specialist Sales roles.
  • Design, build and execute new hire enablement programs to ensure that all new AE’s are productive. 
  • Develop and implement ongoing learning programs for existing AE’s to assess their knowledge, skills and execution, to address areas of sales weakness, and to maximize AE productivity over time. 
  • Design and execute in-person training, such as bootcamps and accreditations and FKOM
  • Capture feedback to measure consumption and effectiveness of all learning.
  • Define processes, guidelines and procedures to ensure consistent, high quality deliverables
  • Align with CLOUD PLATFORM Pre-Sales Enablement to ensure optimum utilization of SME’s and COE on content creation
  • Align with CLOUD PLATFORM Partner Enablement to drive scale of Enablement Content and reach
  • Directly responsible for driving Enablement of SAP Sales roles for the full portfolio of solutions sold by the CLOUD PLATFORM Sales Specialists
  • Create and manage on-going enablement plans for CLOUD PLATFORM Sales Specialists, helping them to analyze how SAP’s solutions fits to customer requirements with training activities, participation in specific enablement programs, etc.
  • Identify Sales roles enablement needs, manage GCO University engagement and enablement delivery including managing content assembly, coordination and delivery of Enablement sessions.
  • Build enablement content working closely with CLOUD PLATFORM SME’s and COE.
  • Manage content areas and respective accountabilities for CLOUD PLATFORM Field Assets Jam page and cooperate closely in this context with Global GTM strategy team
  • Support the GCO global team to develop and apply a standardized/consistent enablement framework for CLOUD PLATFORM
  • Establish feedback mechanisms and provide feedback from key sales stakeholders into the regional CLOUD PLATFORM teams
  • Cooperate closely with key CLOUD PLATFORM stakeholders, including regional sales, COE, product management and software development departments to keep knowledge of the CLOUD PLATFORM portfolio up to date
  • Contribute strongly to the SAP culture with an innovative, results driven attitude and unquestioned integrity


• 8+ years overall experience in Software industry with 3+years of demonstrated training experience in net new sales/GTM programs or in Sales or Marketing.

• Enterprise software experience and/or Cloud SaaS experience; an understanding of SAP solutions,

•  A comfort and understanding of SAP customer set, executing with a sense of urgency and speed.

• Demonstrated success at both strategic and tactical levels

• Teamwork bias with an ability to learn and adapt quickly

• Experience with program execution and results tracking.


Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with experience in one or more of the following:
