Description
You'll be joining a team in iCloud that comprises outstanding automation and quality engineers which has already built some of the most relied on automation infrastructure that Apple uses. You'll be responsible for mentoring and growing this excellent team. Every day, you'll be working with teams across a broad section of Apple to drive quality and working with software leaders to deliver key initiatives every single year.
We are looking for a hardworking leader in software quality engineering who truly believes in "good enough is never enough" to take our capabilities in automation, tools, process, and efficiency to the next level. This position will provide management leadership, technical leadership, and strategic direction to the quality engineering team.
You'll act as a technical leader to: drive software engineering work you're doing through automation, build tools and infrastructure used by teams throughout Apple to test their software, increase test coverage through automation, identify and working with engineering teams to fix customer-impacting defects, promoting software testing standards, and mentoring engineers in the team
