As a Cloud Software Architect in the Office of the CTO of Intel's Datacenter and Artificial Intelligence Group, you will be driving the design, development, and implementation of software that drives easy and efficient deployment of services based on real-world use cases using the latest cloud technologies. Responsibilities include development of intelligent System Software Architecture solutions that help improve the cloud user experience in terms of QoS and SLA compliance.

You will be responsible for the development of system software solutions that span on-premise and cloud, demonstrating intel hardware features. Should be capable of planning and executing independently to deliver quality software solutions, test plans and documentation.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Architect, design, develop, and analyze system software for real-world end-to-end use cases for cloud deployments

• Identify and help optimize software and influence hardware features based on workload characterization, and analysis for QoS/SLA compliance in a datacenter

• Hands-on "next wave" developer who can quickly build, modify, and demonstrate architecture features of importance for performance and QoS, SLA compliance

• Collaborate with teams across Intel to drive software and hardware architecture features for cloud

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of experience in

• System Software Development

• Software developments skills (Linux and Windows; Python, Java and or C/C++)

2+ years of experience in one of the following:

• Cloud Native development using Kubernetes, Containers, and related technologies

• Designing, developing, and deploying complex software solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microservices based scale out product development expertise using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker etc.

• Cloud networking, service mesh, distributed and local storage and database services

• Significant experience with Windows and/or Linux operating system environments

• Experience with Intel Architecture and feature enabling

• Performance measurement and hotspot analysis
