Architects, designs, and provides technical oversight and direction of the development of Intel cloud software products including system software, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and applications, as well as software structure and validation direction. Researches and designs optimal endtoend cloud computing software solutions for cloud, cloud native, orchestration, enterprise, edge, IoT, telco cloud, service mesh, networking, microservices, and/or distributed computing. Engages with major customers to understand use cases, participates in open source and standardization industry work to influence architectures and optimize software, and interacts with technologists and product/product managers across Intel to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development. Makes highlevel design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms.

must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 or more years or Masters with 3+ years of experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related technical discipline
3+ years of experience with the following technical skills:
- Programming languages (e.g. Go, Java, C/C++ including Linux and virtualization technologies).
- Micro services architecture, and related concepts.
- Cloud computing infrastructure and understanding of large-scale IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms
- Experience in key security concepts: cryptography, key/certificate management, identity, and access management
Preferred
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience and/or experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Cloud environments Industry standards, open-source consortiums (Kubernetes, openness) and various compliance requirements (Cloud security, data, security, 5G, network). Infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, networking, and cloud-based delivery models.
- Communication tailored for different audience (executives, customers, technical leads). Willing to mix deep expertise with simple language to deliver story that is memorable and useful.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$171,440.00-$257,260.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
