You will be part of MTC's Server engineering team, working on hardware and software optimization opportunities to solve customer challenges using Intel technologies working closely with leading CSP partner. You will also be responsible for bringing software and workload knowledge back to Intel architects to help influence the Intel roadmap to build data centers of the future.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engagement with Customers and partner teams to understand the use cases for new technologies and opportunities for Intel.

• Understand data platforms software internals to build product knowledge.

• Evaluate new Intel technologies like accelerators, memory, security, encryption, compression by creating Proof of concepts and present the findings to our partners as well as Intel architects.

• Use performance methodologies to analyze and identify platform bottlenecks, identify optimizations and intel technology intercepts for making Intel the platform of choice.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork classes research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable technical discipline.

• 3+ year of Software Development, Software Optimization, and Debugging in C++, python, C# or any other programming languages.

• 1+ years of working knowledge of computer architecture fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree or PHD

• Experience with performance tools and methodologies.

• Experience with operating system internals/OS internals and/or Cloud Server architecture.

• Experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres, SQL, Mongo DB.

• Hands-on experience in Big Data technologies like Spark, NoSQL and/or distributed systems and/or cloud offerings eg: Azure.
