Intel's Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) is seeking passionate Engineers to join their cloud engineering team. As part of the Intel's cloud engineering team, you will get unique opportunity to work across many Intel product groups and also with our key partners to deliver highly optimized cloud solutions using Intel's latest technologies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engage with external as well as Intel teams to understand the use case for new technologies and opportunities for Intel.

• Evaluate new Intel technologies like storage, memory, security by creating Proof of Concepts and present the findings to our partners as well as Intel architects.

• Use performance methodologies to improve Intel's hardware and optimize software stack to ensure best performance on IA.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience.

Minimal Qualifications:

• Completed Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related degree field

  Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Technical Skills:

6+ months of experience with:

• Computer Architecture fundamentals

• Operating Systems (OS) knowledge

• Software Development, Software Optimization and Debugging

       

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance tools and methodologies

• Virtualization & Containers: Hyper-V, KVM, Linux, VMware, Docker or Kubernetes

• Tools such as IDES, Git, GitHub, Jira and/or Wikis

• Knowledge of operating systems and multithreaded programming patterns
