Responsibilities Include:

- Design, develop, validate, and debug software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and/or on prem deployment models.

- Understand partner software stacks and optimize full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software.

- May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.

- May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.

The main activities will focus on Linux Operating system and acceleration compute intensive networking operation by Hardware. The scope of work will span software development, device driver development, and OS utilities development depending on the program needs.

Qualifications

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

 - Bachelors' of Science degree or higher.
- 5+ years of industry work experience.
- 2+ years of Linux kernel mode or device drivers.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of networking API's, RDMA, user mode services, Linux community open source BKMs, PCI.
- Experience with hardware debug tools such as PCI and ethernet analyzers.
- Experience backport solutions to multiple distributions and OS's.
- Enjoy collaborating on hard to solve issues in a dynamic fast paced environment.
-Ability and desire to work in team environment with Agile programming practices.
- Experience developing cloud based middleware software components.
