We're seeking for a passionate Cloud Software Development Engineer who's got a Master's degree or a PhD in a relevant technical discipline.

The daily responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:

• Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybridcloud, and/or onprem deployment models.
• Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software.
• May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.
• May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.  Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must have a Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mathematics or Software Engineering discipline and 5 + years of working experience in/with: - OR - a PhD in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mathematics or Software Engineering discipline and 1+ years of experience in/with:

• Programming Language Proficient in C, C++, Go
• Scripting Languages such as JavaScript, or Python programming
• Cloud Development Deployment and Performance on Cloud Systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in/with:

• Intel Architecture x86 assembly language programming
• Xeon Server Architecture and Performance
• Open Source Process
• Product development

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$149,020.00-$223,560.00
