Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Cloud and Enterprise Solutions Group (CESG) within our larger Datacenter and AI Group (DCAI) as a Cloud Software Engineering Manager. The Cloud and Enterprise Solutions Group Software team is seeking an experienced people manager within the US Hyperscale Software Engineering Team. This team is responsible for analyzing existing SW services and workloads, determining technical/business pain points, determining technical requirements and potential solutions, and driving proof of concept architectures which lead towards production implementations.

In this role you will lead and manage a team of engineers bringing cutting-edge solutions and advances to our largest cloud service provider customers. The position requires innovation, communicating complex solutions, and assisting partners and customer development and operations teams in delivering advances in cloud software and services.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Computer Engineering or related field.

3+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Performing a people manager role or lead software engineer role
• Cloud Software, Cloud Services or Performance Engineering
• Working with customers in the design and deployment of automated large-scale computing environments using both open-source, commercial and home-grown/custom software
• Building software products or solutions

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

2+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Performance Benchmarking, Telemetry, and/or Data Science.
• Building large scale highly distributed software solutions using Public cloud technologies.

$187,370.00-$299,710.00
