In this position you will be part of the Data Center Business Innovation Office in Intel's Data Center and AI Group. The Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible for the definition of new growth market segments in the datacenter, based on Intel technologies. This role will also include the development of new segment strategy and the execution plans necessary for market leadership.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with customers to explore and capture requirements while providing insights into the technologies that can most optimally solve business needs
   
• Setting customer expectations for solution cost, features, and schedule.
   
• Leading platform solution and definition and configuration, working closely with Intel product teams, design and thermal engineering.
   
• Enabling system integrators, device manufacturers and/or 3rd parties for an optimized, market ready solution meeting customer requirements.
   
• Definition and development of an accelerated platform innovations, including proposals for form factor reference designs or end to end solution prototype.
   
• Working closely with internal business, product, planning teams to provide system form factor driven features and performance requirements that influence the base platform roadmap to meet market needs.
   
• Development of technical relationships with end-users, ISVs, OSVs, OxMs to drive innovation into Intel products.
   
• Development of hardware and software platform solutions to address the end-user requirements
   
• Providing technical leadership and direction for the solutions team and other groups across Intel

• Strong communication skills including representing your company in industry forums or internal reviews
   
• Demonstrated strong technical team leadership, and cross group collaboration.
   
• Willing to develop customer relationships with end-users, ISVs, OEMs and Intel platform architects and Proof-Of-Concept engineers.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of related industry experience

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 6+ years of related industry experience

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 4+ years of related industry experience.
 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in data center market enabling and strategy development
 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing system and solutions in the data center markets
• Understanding customer cloud application usage requirements
• Experience with cloud, enterprise, network, and edge technologies
• Experience working with the System Integrators, ISVs, ODM/OEM a plus
• Experience in Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment
• A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems and solutions development and across more than one technical domain.

$171,710.00-$274,890.00
