We are looking to hire a Cloud Storage Architect who:
Drives software-defined storage architecture and implementation for block, file, and object storage at the cloud scale. Engages with SDN, performance, and other cloud architects to ensure the best possible configuration and performance leveraging HW and SW. Demonstrates knowledge of multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, security, networking, distributed computing, microservices, elasticity, DevOps toolchains and processes, serverless concepts, data, analytics, etc. Engages with major customers to understand use cases, participates, and influences open source and standardization work. Interacts with technologists and product managers across Intel to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine development priorities. Makes high-level design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
with 15+ years of relevant software development
experience.
Experience in architecting and building
storage software solutions/services in the areas of block, file, or
object at enterprise and/or cloud scale.
Ability to
mentor and work effectively across a range of internal development
and support teams as well as external partners and customers.
Experience in architecting software solutions using
cloud-native computing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker,
Containers, Microservices, and Red Hat OpenShift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing
cloud services aimed at developers.
Designing and
operating distributed systems, networking design, and
implementation experience.
Experience employing CI/CD
and DevSecOps concepts.
Experience in programming
languages: Python, Go, Java. Knowledge of Jupyter Hub, Notebooks,
Github, etc.

$207,010.00-$330,570.00
