We are looking for a driven and passionate Validation Software Development Engineer to come join Intel's Server Platform Integration Validation organization. We are seeking a Software Engineer for our Security and Manageability feature validation efforts. We are delivering technologies with a high degree of integration with the OS kernel and drivers, firmware, and hardware design. Our Security and Manageability team is responsible for End-to-End validation strategy, test content development, debug, execution coordination, and customer co-validation for Intel's datacenter platform validation of Security and Manageability technologies. Our team directly contributes to Intel's Scalable and Advanced Performance server product lines that power a significant portion of the global internet, cloud, networking, and enterprise infrastructure. We work in pre and post Silicon environments and with pre-production hardware and systems.
Responsibilities include working with your peers on the design of test plans and validation architecture, developing an automation strategy for the technology, implementing the automation strategy by developing object-oriented test content, and coordinating debug and test of automated content on next-generation server platforms. You will be contributing towards the success of key technologies for our Datacenter customers. You will work with other teams across Intel including hardware and software architects, silicon design and debug teams, and software/firmware organizations.

Qualifications
You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum
requirements:
The candidate must have a
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 6+ months of experience in two or more of
the following
areas:
Programming and/or scripting skills in one or more languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, Perl, etc.
Data structures and/or object-oriented programming.
Processor and/or Computer systems architecture.
Preferred
qualifications:
Post silicon validation debugging and troubleshooting of complex problems.
Working with Virtualization or Container environments such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Exposure to technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Communication, PCIe, I2C, Smbus, Security, RAS (reliability, accessibility, serviceability), Manageability, Power Management, or Memory technologies.
Software and/or hardware testing and tools JTAG/ITP, kernel debugger.
OS debug, kernel, or driver development with Windows and/or Linux.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
