Competitive Intelligence Manager
Reporting to the Head of Competitive Intelligence, this role is responsible for providing strong competitive intelligence and actionable insights in the Human Capital Management (HCM) Space.
- Develop advanced understanding of competitive technologies and trends in the HCM space and become a subject matter Expert (SME)
- Develop insights on best-in-class competitors, emerging niche players, strategic threats and future opportunities
- Focus on delivering compelling content and creative storytelling in CI communications to motivate action via written analysis and presentations to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain competitive intelligence assets
- Partner and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including Sales, Sales Ops, Product Management, Product Marketing and Strategy.
- Conduct deep competitor assessments – across strategic roadmap, portfolio capabilities, go to market efforts, sales, service delivery and financials – so that the BU can better understand how ADP stacks up and identify opportunities
- Provide informed evaluations of competitors in key strategic dimensions, including technology, product, service, and marketing.
Education/Knowledge/Experience:
- Ability to work with key stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing).
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Prefer minimum of 3 years of competitive intelligence and/or consulting or Corporate Strategy experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Well-organized, data driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
- Ability to identify strategic needs with little direction.
- Executive presence to gain the confidence of business leaders.
- Compelling storyteller: Leverages outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills to present views in a persuasive manner, tailored to audience and objectives
Attributes:
- Strong technical / computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic, team-based environment across multiple functions.
- Ability to build and leverage internal relationships
- Demonstrate credibility as a subject matter expert in insights rooted in knowledge and experience
- Comfort with reading and using financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statements)
- Attention to detail but possessing practical business leverage mindset rather than a technical/academic research mindset
- Strong business acumen to analyze competitive strategies and propose effective countermeasures
- Adaptable and flexible
- Self-directed, goal oriented and personally accountable
- Customer focused and A desire to win; Commitment to integrity

Minimum: $100000
