Competitive Intelligence Win Room Director

Reporting to the VP of Competitive Intelligence, the individual contributor role is responsible for providing direct and strong competitive support to Sales (head-to-head and take-overs), Services Support (renewal), and Leadership teams (metrics) to enhance ADP's market share in competitive situations. The roles is to become the point of contact with subject matter expertise on how win against one tier 1 ADP competitor, while acting as a deal co-pilot to strategic sales deals and critical service renewals.

  • Leverage existing content and subject matter experts in Competitive Intelligence, Market Insights, Pricing, and Product Marketing to directly support Sales Associates and Service/Support Associates in direct, head to head, or take-over competitive situations.
  • Develop advanced understanding of strengths, weaknesses, technologies and trends for one ADP HCM competitor, to become the competitive point of contact for the field.
  • Execute and document analysis to inform strategic and sales enablement decision-making across the evolving competitive landscape at a national, market, and local level.
  • Support short and long-term strategic decision-making by supporting the full sale cycle, by quarterbacking proven and effective tactics against the competition.
  • Document and maintain records of success, for all deals involved. Create and maintain relevant metrics, to show and demonstrate impact.

Education/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in B2B sales roles, and/or service roles, preferably in the cloud HCM industry and with familiarity with ADP offers and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 7 years' experience in Sales Support and/or Customer Services and/or Competitive intelligence
    • Minimum of 3 years of competitive intelligence and/or consulting experience.
  • Industry understanding of the Cloud HCM business.
  • Strong analytical (e.g. to dig into the nuance of the competitors) and problem solving skills (e.g strategic help to sellers with specific deals)
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills; especially for a globally distributed team. Comfortable in Work from Home environment.
  • Well-organized, data driven, and comfortable managing multiple parallel projects, speaking with sales and services, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Executive presence to gain the confidence of business leaders.
  • Ability to operate with little direction.
  • Excellence in documentation and process management.
