The Components Research (CR) mission is to invent and demonstrate revolutionary and game-changing process technologies that enable Intel's product leadership. The CR lab team is looking for a motivated candidate to process laboratory scale experiments.
The candidate will be responsible for performing experiments on small wafers or coupons cut from 300mm wafers. They will actively participate in safety reviews for new experiments and will be expected to provide recommendations to engineering on how to improve the running of experiments and/or tools. Work will require the candidate to work in both clean room and non-clean room lab environments to support various modules.
This position will have an
emphasis on lithography, including handling photoresist processing
and the associated chemicals. Most assignments are semi-routine in
nature and are performed within generally defined parameters. Lab
technicians normally receive general instructions on most work.
Work requiring the handling of chemicals will be done according to
EHS approved procedures with the required PPE. Technicians work
frequently with process engineers on research projects and have
opportunities to work independently as their specialized skills
increase.

Qualifications
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through schoolwork and/or classes and/or project work and/or internships and/or military training and/or work experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- AA degree in electronics, computer science or similar technical area or equivalent military training
- 3+ years experience working in a fab environment
Willing
to:
- Carry up to 6-9 lbs. of weight more than 20 times per day may utilize cart.
- Push transport carts with up to 20 lbs. of force multiple times per shift.
Preferred
Qualifications
- Experience working in a lithography module.
- Experience with chemical handling and safety.
- Experience with semiconductor fab or lab processing or other hands-on material processing or analysis
