Components Research module technicians are responsible for:
- Operation, maintenance and repair of specialized processing equipment inside and outside of a clean room environment to keep output high without compromising safety or quality.
- Monitoring and auditing the semiconductor manufacturing process.
- May process test runs to determine results of modifications.
- May assist process engineering in developing new processes.
- In-fab processing support of multiple programs: wafer processing, visual analysis, data gathering and analysis, tool maintenance, lot file setup, failure analysis.
- Participation on the Emergency Response Team and other general fab operations duties.
Assignments are semi-routine in nature. Work is performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work.
A successful candidate must exhibit the following traits:
- Flexible to work in multi-tasking environment and self-motivated requiring minimal supervision.
- Detailed data collection and good communication skills are critical in support of multiple engineers and research projects.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through schoolwork and/or classes and/or project work and/or internships and/or military training and/or work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelors degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Mechanical/Technical Certification or equivalent OR 3+ years of equivalent military training.
- 12+ months of Semiconductor experience as a Maintenance or Manufacturing Technician
Willing to:
- Work a 12-hour compressed work week shift. Shift alternates between three- and four-day work weeks.
- Work in a clean room environment, wearing Gortex gowns, booties, safety glasses and gloves for the majority (less break time) of daily shifts.
- Walk 3-5 miles in a 12-hour shift and standing/sitting for 9 hours
- Push transport carts with up to 20 lbs. of force multiple times per shift.
- Carry up to 6-9 lbs. of weight more than 20 times per day may utilize cart.
