Core Banking Engineer Madrid, Spain

We recently launched digital banks and wallets in multiple markets to enhance our customers experiences with a cutting-edge digital Ecosystem. As a member of the Core Banking Engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to establish core digital banking and wallet solutions globally.
Role Responsibilities
Lead work on innovative, actionable, and efficient technology solutions to drive Core Banking systems implementations and enhancements in the assigned region.
Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
Execute success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, and efficient decision-making.
Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers.
Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
Develop technical & domain expertise and apply it in solving product challenges.
Share engineering support and release.
Be a culture champion on the team and across the company.
Role Requirements
BS in Computer Science or related fields with 3 to 6+ years of professional experience.
Ability to work independently and complete assigned technical development tasks.
Ability to mentor junior team members.
Experience working with Core Banking systems. Mambu or similar core banking technology.
Hands-on experience with Mambu Process Orchestrator (MPO)
Experience solving functional product needs by effectively leveraging the configuration capabilities of the underlying Core banking systems and MPO
Hands-on experience implementing, enhancing, or supporting Core Banking systems.
Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, XML, Web technologies, Web Services
Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)
Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks
Demonstrated experience in modern programming languages (for example, Java/C++) and design patterns.
Experience with integrations, APIs, and enterprise platforms like Mulesoft is a plus.
Proven ability to understand the business and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.
Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D

Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and thrive under pressure.
Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
