Intel's Corporate
Strategy Office (CSO) is chartered to continue Intel's
transformation from a PC-centric company to a data-centric company.
Within CSO, Corporate Development Mergers & Acquisitions
Strategy team plays a critical role in shaping and driving the
long-term growth of Intel. The team will work to define the market
opportunity, develop near- and long-term business strategies,
identify, monitor, evaluate, and recommend potential M&A
opportunities, and support the execution of our growth
strategies.
As a Corporate Development Manager,
you will operate as a trusted strategic partner to business group
leaders and their teams, and proactively and effectively influence
existing business strategies and growth initiatives. You will be
responsible for ensuring both internal and external focus is taken
when we pressure test and source programmatic and transformational
growth opportunities for Intel. We are looking for a strategic
thinker to develop rationale, business cases in support of
transactions, deal concepts, diligences and effectively partners
with the M&A deal team in the execution of
transactions.
Your responsibilities will
include:
Work with business group leaders and their staff to establish a systematic process to identify, prioritize and assess strategic growth opportunities that accelerate Intel's mission
Define and manage a pipeline of potential targets (with cross-functional team inputs) with a systematic process to prioritize target along the pipeline for further diligence
Bring thought leadership to key stakeholders, and collaborate broadly
Maintain relationships with startups, VCs, and leading technology companies to inform product strategy, source deals, and stay up to date with competitive and technology landscape
Serve as a role model and mentor teams to coach and groom talent
Lead broad, multi-functional senior teams to effectively gather subject matter expert input, align leadership team and drive to actions
Conduct strategic analyses of growth opportunities to analyze key market, customer, competitive, product and technology trends, and articulate required organic and inorganic options to meet growth objectives.
Conduct diligences and pressure test internally and externally to collect market feedback and refine potential plays or potential targets.
Conduct rigorous market and financial analysis including market assessment, business case, synergies, build vs. buy modeling, ROI etc. to provide detailed guidance and scenarios into potential acquisitions and other strategic opportunities, and provide input into deal valuations
Prepare and communicate opportunities effectively to executive management and the board.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, technology, business or related.
8+ years of professional business experience including:
Experience participating in at least 10 deals and familiarity with strategy development.
5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, finance, management consulting, investment banking, and / or equivalent experience (e.g., scaling a business).
5+ years of people management and or large-scale project management experience.
Knowledge of semiconductors, software or technology landscape and ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with wide variety of deals, e.g., large-scale transformational deals, small technology tuck-ins, programmatic growth transactions.
Strong network, experiences, and knowledge within both the technical and financial ecosystem.
Demonstrated thought leadership and cross-group collaboration skills.
Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment. To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation. Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development. The team is ccommitted to ensuring that Intel efforts are aligned to, and actively driving success toward the most impactful business strategies.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
