This full-time position is responsible for developing the architectural features for next-generation flagship Intel CPU cores.You will become part of the world class team that develops all our server and client processors:Inventing, conceptualizing, and specifying microarchitecture and ISA features for Intel's next-generation CPUsExperimentally exploring feature ideas through modeling, simulation, and data analysisInteracting and communicating with architecture and design teams as well as internal/external customers to achieve project goalsSupporting internal and external software enabling
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would
be obtained through a combination of your school
work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must have a Master or PhD in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineer, or related
computing discipline.
Master candidates
require 3+ years of work or educational experience in
several of the following areas:
Computer architecture,
including specific areas of technical expertise relevant to
CPUs
Coding and debug skills (C/C++,
scripting languages)
Simulator development (functional
and/or power/performance)
Preferred
Qualifications
Experience with:
Compiler development (e.g., LLVM) and low-level
software optimization.
Assembly language programming and
debugging.
Knowledge of Intel Architecture ISA.
Knowledge of modern CPU microarchitecture.
Research
publications, patent filings, or other evidence of personal
technical innovation in computer
architecture.
The Core and Client Development Group (C2DG) is a worldwide organization focused on the development and integration of SOCs, Core , and critical IPs that power Intel's leadership products, driving most of the Client roadmap for CCG, Delivering Server First Cores that enable continued growth for DCG and invest in future disruptive technologies.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$113,500.00-$170,120.00
