This position will work within Intel's Design Engineering Group (DDG) in Chandler, Arizona for next generation CPU design. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically savvy individual to join our team as RTL Design Engineer.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Definition and development of Architecture and Microarchitecture specifications for CPU Soft IP

• Owns implementation of new features and improvement of existing feature for the IP

• Work closely with verification team for feature validation, bug disposition and bug closure

• Drive improvements to the design flow and methodologies.

• Communication and collaboration skills and a team player.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering or related field and 1+ years of experience; OR a Masters Degree in Electronics and Electrical or Computer engineering or related field and knowledge and experience in one or more of the following domains:

• Intel Architecture x86, ARM or RISC V CPU architecture,

• Proficient in RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog

• Knowledge in industry tools and design methodologies for example: synthesis, CDC, lint, DFT, VCLP, PrimeTime, FEV

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of following experience:

• High performance CPU design techniques

• Power reduction techniques

• Practical knowledge of Design for Test and Design for Debug strategies.

• Trade off and optimization technique between Performance Power and Area
