This position will
work within Intel's Design Engineering Group (DDG) in Chandler,
Arizona for next generation CPU design. We are seeking a highly
motivated and technically savvy individual to join our team as RTL
Design Engineer.
Responsibilities included but
not limited to:
Definition and development of Architecture and Microarchitecture specifications for CPU Soft IP
Owns implementation of new features and improvement of existing feature for the IP
Work closely with verification team for feature validation, bug disposition and bug closure
Drive improvements to the design flow and methodologies.
Communication and collaboration skills and a team player.
Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum
Qualification:
Bachelor degree in Electronics
or Computer Engineering or related field and 1+ years of
experience; OR a Masters Degree in Electronics and Electrical or
Computer engineering or related field and knowledge and experience
in one or more of the following
domains:
Intel Architecture x86, ARM or RISC V CPU architecture,
Proficient in RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog
Knowledge in industry tools and design methodologies for example: synthesis, CDC, lint, DFT, VCLP, PrimeTime, FEV
Preferred
Qualifications:
1+ year of following experience:
High performance CPU design techniques
Power reduction techniques
Practical knowledge of Design for Test and Design for Debug strategies.
Trade off and optimization technique between Performance Power and Area
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of
industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or
schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
