This job requires knowledge of CPU design, cache coherency, various power management features and techniques in CPU design. This is a RTL design position which requires working with Architects, reading Arch Specs and coming up with Microarchitecture Specifications, coding the RTL and verification. This job also requires working closely the Backend/Physical design team and ensuring the design meets timing criteria, help with writing MCOs as needed, creating UPFs, working with CDC tools to identify and fix CDC paths. This may also require some sub-IP integration work occasionally.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in Computer/Electrical engineering with 3+ years experience OR Bachelor's in Computer/Electrical engineering with 5+ years experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Familiar with CPU design/Architecture, Power Management features, Proficient in System Verilog, Familiar with Frontend tools like: CDC tool, Lint, Fishtail etc.
Experienced in complex RTL design with willingness to do timing analysis and identify solutions for timing critical paths, knowledgeable in writing MCOs, UPFs.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
