Imagine what you could make at Apple. Phenomenal ideas have a way of becoming innovative products, services, and customer experiences. The Media Content Design team conceptualizes, designs and creates the content experience for some of Apple's most visible products!

We are looking for an extraordinary Creative to join a team that will help drive new and innovative ways to tell stories. Your work can impact the way people consume media products, and how they're used by millions of people across the globe.

Our ideal candidate is energized by the thought of storytelling, design, and the intersection of entertainment and technology. Someone who values the responsibility of storytelling that is representative of our audience and culture. Someone who is curious and motivated by a user/audience experience on our product.

Key Qualifications

  • Sees themselves as a creative problem solver and has experience in conceptualizing and creating amazing content driven experiences
  • You have an innovative vision for our content and media experiences across the Apple ecosystem and ideas about how to drive culture through them
  • You're a conceptual problem solver
  • Clear and concise communication skills in small and large groups
  • You're a person who thrives in team settings to bring an idea to life and is capable of working closely with other team's remits
  • Fluency with any of the following: graphic design, typography, video, 2d/3d animation, UX, storytelling
  • Have a passion for collaborating with other creatives, and can use that rapport to align others around their vision
  • Skilled at synthesis and able to distill information
  • Having interest in groundbreaking technology and new ways of bringing entertainment to audiences is a plus

Description

You will be an expansive thinker with love of entertainment, and love of connecting people to stories in new ways. You will dream up new ways to story tell and experience content whilst simultaneously thinking about user experience and behaviors.

You will come to Apple to think about how our most premium and coveted content, Apple TV+, shows up to our customers worldwide on an everyday basis; how Apple creates breathtaking and engaging content experiences within our products-creating new content forms to engage our viewers. This role is unique in that you will drive both the present and the future of TV in our platforms.

At Apple, we collaborate cross-functionally across many organizations and in the content space this is truer than ever. The creative needs to be extremely team oriented, believing that phenomenal work happens when you work with other exceptional people to get things done, but is also used to navigating these relationships and driving the work with vision when needed. You should first and foremost have a background in design, TV, digital content creation, advertising, or journalism as well as a respect for and champion user experience. You will be a culture driver with an outstanding eye for detail, a keen sense of what matters and a belief that they can make a big difference.

This is a role is for a true creative. A design thinker, communicator, and problem solver who wants to have their hands in many things at once; who can work across media types, screens, formats and technologies, and dedicated to shaping deep story lines of our users.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating strength in illustrating how ideas came to life across digital, social or static form factors.
  • 12+ years relevant design or creative experience required; bonus for tours in publishing, magazines, advertising, or content creation/delivery
  • Has passion about the Apple brand and steadfast in preserving its authenticity
  • Ability to work with team members in a respectful way that will make the work culture richer
