As a Manufacturing Engineer (Compressed
Work Week Segment Leader), you are part of a factory manufacturing
team and will control the activities of a specific part of the
production line and manufacturing processes for the
shift.
Responsibilities for this role
will include but are not limited
to:
Ensures goals for output velocity and the percentage of WIP in process for their area are met.
Coordinate with other members of the factory manufacturing and management teams to ensure that their actions support the overall factory goals and recommends strategies to achieve those goals.
Become well-versed in the tools and systems which control factory operations (e.g. CORE, Autoproc, MOQ restrict, T3S, etc.) and the intricacies of their segment (such as tool/operation capabilities and queue time loop management).
Will routinely communicate strategy to Shift Captains, Assistant Manufacturing Managers, and Manufacturing Managers.
The
ideal candidate must exhibit the following behavioral

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and driving solutions.
Willing to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Able to produce results in a timely manner.
Additional notes:
The successful candidate is willing to work in compressed night shift schedule, back half of the week (Shift 6 - 19:30 - 08:00 every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday)

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must posses one of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or related field AND 3+ years of related experience
Master's degree in Engineering, ideally Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or related field AND 1+ years of related experience
Preferred
Qualifications
2+ years of experience working with manufacturing operation systems and WIP management fundamentals either as a technician, operations manager, or module engineer.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
