Apple is seeking world-class talent to join the Supplier Clean Energy Program team and focus on developing data systems that support the Program's goals and translate data into relevant insights. Knowledge and data are power. Clear, high quality and measurable data will be critical in enabling Apple to drive increased adoption of renewable energy across its supply chain.

Key Qualifications

  • Three or more years of direct experience in data and systems project management. Alternatively, five plus year related work experience in consulting, business analytics, financial analysis or other related business facing roles
  • Knowledge and experience in using and applying analytical software, database management system software, database reporting software
  • Fluency in tools used for data analysis, data access, manipulation, and validation
  • Passion for data visualization and information design (proficiency in Tableau preferred)
  • Comfortable presenting; able to clearly communicate sophisticated analyses to a non-technical audience
  • Proven technical database and data modeling knowledge
  • Advanced project management experience; Advanced in working cross functionally
  • Supreme attention to detail

  • Experience gathering data from a broad group of partners and ensuring data quality

Description

In this role, the Data & Systems Project Manager will:
- Be the go-to person within Apple for information on Supplier Clean Energy Program metrics and performance. Your analysis, insights and presentations will be critical in enabling Apple to drive increased adoption of renewable energy across its supply chain.
- Manage the Supplier Clean Energy Program's data initiative, working cross-functionally to implement strategies that ensure high quality collection and management of data from suppliers, as well as other internal/external sources.
- Support the design and implementation of thorough data systems and processes that increase internal/external engagement and visibility.
- Analyze and model energy usage and carbon output data. You will set up systems and processes to support this work.
- Lead external and internal data reporting and handle annual audit and reporting processes.
- Work with the Supplier Clean Energy Program team to design and implement dashboards, partnering with visualization specialists.
- Proactively innovate new approaches to handling, gathering and visualizing data
- Stay abreast of industry standard methodologies in supply chain data management

Education & Experience
- BS/BA degree. Advanced degree in management science, or economics is a plus.
