In this position, you will be a Software Engineer and member of the Data Center Group Performance Engineering team. This team is tasked to support and evaluate and deliver data center performance performance measurement on data center products. .
We are looking for a candidate that is well versed in Linux, networking, and scripting languages will benchmarks on servers. You will be working hands on the latest Intel technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating server and solutions performance using industry standard benchmarks, commercial and/or open source applications and applications.
- Developing test automation test scripts and evaluating key technologies that contribute to performance.
- Responsible for adapting existing tests, benchmarks, and applications to the latest Intel and competitive platforms.
- Developing new tests or adapt workloads to test/stress architectural features.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum
Qualifications:
The
candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related
field.
3+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Linux Operating system
- Scripting languages (Bash or Python)
- Computer architecture building blocks (processor, graphics, storage, networking, and software)
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Windows Operating system
- Re-building kernels, compiling open source code or projects
- Debugging and troubleshooting PC, workstation, or server solutions
- System configuration, testing and benchmarking

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
