Intel Mask Operations (IMO) Infrastructure Data team in Santa Clara is the team in charge of of building a state-of-the-art data center with compute infrastructure to support the world leading mask operation at Intel.
As a Data Center Software Engineer you will part of energetic and diverse group of engineers that are building the next generation solutions enabling Intel to be one generation ahead on technology with Industry.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release a wide variety of hardware and software products and projects.
Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implements and maintains of those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
Owns the end-to-end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third-party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning.
Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline through implementation of robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators, and by monitoring and applying industry best practices.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant related field of study or expect the required degree by June 2022.
3+ months of experience with continuous monitoring solutions such Elastic, Kibana, Grafana
Preferred
Qualifications:
3+ months of experience with industry standard tools such as: Ansible, Cobbler, Cfengine, Containers and Kubernetes.
3+ months of experience with Linux OS (preferred SuSE) and scripting languages such as: Python, Perl
