Sets the strategic and technical design of AI frameworks, protocols, algorithms/topologies, and optimizations. Makes high level design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms. Determines coding, development tools, validation, and standards compliance requirements. Collaborates with management, product owners, and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development. Performs pathfinding, surveys technologies, participates in standards committees, and presents at external and internal events. May interact with multiple technologists in the company to influence architectures and optimize/customize software offerings.

Performance Analysis of Peta-Scale/Exa-Scale Distributed Training Architectures for Large Deep Learning Workloads in NLP/Vision/Recommendation-Systems. Profile Model/Data/Hybrid Parallel Frameworks to identify Performance-Bottlenecks and propose solutions for Architecture/Workload Optimizations. Architecture Exploration via Analytical Modeling and/or Simulation to Prototype HW/SW Choices at Component, Scale-Up, and Scale-Out Levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a Masters degree ( with 2+ years experience ) or PhD degree in Computer-Science/AI, Applied-Math, Computer Engineering or Equivalent

2+ years of experience in below areas:

• AI/ML/HPC/Distributed-Systems/Network-Architecture
• Strong Mathematical/Algorithms/Analytical Skills or Experience
• Excellent Programming, Debugging, and Performance Analysis Skills
• C++ and/or Python
