Whole Life Engineering (WLE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. WLE consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our WLE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

As the Depot Team Lead supporting the AMRAAM ((Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile) Program, youll work closely with the Sustainment Management Team and your responsibilities will include:
  • Assessing risks and opportunities to support depot contract requirements
  • Evaluating warranty obligations
  • Collecting field failure data
  • Identifying and communicating sustainment and warranty teardown and building priorities
  • Presenting repair status, supporting factory execution, directing the consumption and withholding of depot materials
  • Confirming non-repairability or BER status of depot materials and executing follow through actions
  • Facilitating sales of depot services
  • Providing inbound and outbound logistics services
  • Maintaining data integrity in government systems
  • Performing utilization assessments of depot materials and purging excess inventory
  • Producing and delivering contractual data item reports, and responding to DCMA and internal audit inquiries

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Develop roles for the Depot Team, clarify responsibilities, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts
  • Collaborate with project engineering and value streams with regard to sustainment and warranty repair priorities, run rules and deviations, constraints, and resolutions
  • Present FMS depot status to the International Team
  • Produce and maintain depot status metrics and charts
  • Oversee cost and schedule of subassembly repairs
  • Assess history of depot activities and material inventory to support contract proposals
  • Acquire depot materials to facilitate repair activities
  • Direct movements of depot hardware across and among plant sites

An advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience may be considered for this role.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: Bachelors degree or an additional 2 years of relevant experience may be substituted for each 1 year of college

Employment Experience:
  • 5+ years of Logistics, Depot, Supply Chain or Manufacturing experience
  • Experience with repair & return, assessing repairability or performing utilization assessments of depot materials
  • An active and in-scope Secret US Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
Qualifications We Value:
