Job Description

Develops and tests Engineering Design Automation tools, creates flows/scripts to analyze and test design methodologies. Specifies materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects. Evaluates vendor practical capabilities to provide required products or services. Responsible for designing, deploying and testing efficiency of tools to utilize in achieving design goals and collaborating with design teams on methodology development. Design Automation Engineers are advocates of applying design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:


- The candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years experience OR a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years experience in the following:

- ASIC design experience

- Cadence tools experience

- RTL to layout design completion flow


Preferred Qualifications:

- Synopsys tools experience
- Design, deploy and test tools efficiency to utilize in achieving design goals and collaborate with design teams on methodology development
- CAD tools , such as Fusion Compiler (Synopsys) or Innovus/Genus (Cadence)
- Apply design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality
