The One Cloud team in SAS ATT is looking for a versatile DevOps Engineer to join the team in a fast paced and growing team. As part of the team, you will work with multiple teams to understand their needs, help define solutions, and implement infrastructure and software tools solutions to meet the team's needs.

Qualified candidates will have experience with pre-production hardware, system administration, such as provisioning and managing servers, deploying databases, security monitoring, system patching, and managing internal and external network connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Understand, and be willing to use, a variety of tools spanning the DevOps lifecycle from infrastructure and building, to monitoring and operating a product or service.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure VM's, orchestrators (e.g. Docker Swarm or Kubernetes) is a big plus.

• Need basic knowledge of configuring and deploying CI/CD tools and will work closely with the rest of the development organization to ensure that these tools are used effectively.

• Beyond writing automation scripts also understand software development practices and implementation of agile development practices such as code reviews and using source control.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous work experience, military training and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Computer Engineering Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.

2+ years of experience with four or more of the following:

• Experience building and maintaining pre-production servers and/or client systems

• Configuring BIOS, BMC, Upgrading Firmware, Driver Installs.

• Implementing new or maintaining existing CI\CD tools or infrastructure.

• Experience with VM's, orchestrators (e.g. Docker Swarm or Kubernetes), AWS, etc.

• Setting up and maintaining IT and non-IT network infrastructure.

• Experience with building and maintaining clusters.

• Experience with DCIM tools such as Netbox or others.

• Experience with cloud network automation tools or configuration tools.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Linux experience.

• Experience with programming languages C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• Experience working with REST APIs and automation workflows.
