Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Internet of Things Group (IoTG) as a Developer Instructional Designer. This position is open to a hybrid or a virtual / remote schedule. Artificial Intelligence and deep learning are driving transformation in various industries globally. Defect detection on industrial assembly lines, natural language processing in the enterprise/cloud, and retail shelf stock detection all rely on doing Deep Learning AI Inferencing on data - at the Edge, in the Enterprise/Cloud, and increasingly on laptop and desktop computers as well.

We are looking for an experienced Developer Instructional Designer skilled at digesting complex ideas and communicating them into simple elegant ways that inspire and educate developers. We want to create AI practitioners and democratize AI by educating the masses that AI on Intel is accessible for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Create training material content for the Intel Edge AI Certification Program
• Design interesting real-world AI/Machine Learning Demos.
• Design Edge AI hands on labs, workshops, and skill evaluations.
• Create instructional videos and presentations showcasing industry applications of Edge AI/ML.
• Coordinate the creation of training materials with engineers to deliver training workshops.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Must be a team player, with a demonstrated experience technically influencing others.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong communication, project management and planning skills.
• Knowledge of deep learning, AI, or data science.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Willingness to dig into the technical details.
• Willing to work in Pacific Standard Time.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in developer tools and apps ecosystem and/or technology products, with both business and technical audiences.
• Python or C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise - AI ML.
• Experience creating instructional content e.g., Instructional Documentation, Educational Videos, PowerPoints.
