Development Architect for SAP CoPilot – the first true digital assistant for the enterprise.

 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP is transforming the business application design for the digital economy. The next generation
SAP Fiori UX design will be the new face for enterprise software and deliver a series
of innovative new features such as improved contextual interaction, action-oriented personal
notifications, real-time collaboration in a transactional model, and a personal assistant
experience.  SAP CoPilot is the first true digital assistant for the enterprise.

 

As a Development Architect, you will directly contribute to turning these innovative concepts into
reality. Our mission requires full stack development of user interfaces and services on top of the
SAP Cloud Platform.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

As a Development Architect, you will:
-  Join an agile, ambitious, energetic, multi-skilled team
-  Lead and work independently with developers to implement new and improved functions for the digital assistant, understanding the big picture while still being hands-on yourself
-  Leverage new technologies for enterprise applications around the world, e.g. natural language processing
-  Interface with interaction designers and advise them in the feasibility of compelling user experiences for mobile and web applications
-  Develop next generation mobile, web, and desktop applications as well as their cloud services, and frequently iterate with our internal and external stakeholders
-  Interface with central architecture teams inside SAP, and SAP product development teams for software design and integration tasks
-  Embrace lean and agile software development principles

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

-  A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
-  Excellent proven software analysis, design, and development skills
-  Proven ability to quickly acquire proficient skills in new areas and technologies
-  Strong drive to get things done
-  Constructive and open style of communication

 

WORK EXPERIENCE
-  6 years of experience in various programming languages, frameworks, and web application development including database development
-  Expert level knowledge of Java
-  Strong experience in architecting, designing, and implementing full stack solutions and services for the cloud
-  Experience with SAP systems, applications, and their interfaces, in particular OData, is beneficial
-  Experience with natural language processing is a plus
-  Work experience across cultures and locations is a plus
