As a Device Driver
Automation and Validation Engineer, you will:
- Validate
software drivers on Windows, FreeBSD, Linux, and ESX.
-
Create test applications using the IntelQATzip API and Microsoft
CNG frameworks.
- Create .NET/PowerShell scripts and
cmdlets to validate device driver and API functionality.
-
Debug test code to assist the team for problem identification and
resolution.
- Create test plans and test cases for new
products/features and interfacing with development and
architecture.

Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum
required qualifications to be initially considered for this
position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to
the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in
identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree.
- Experience with driver validation in .NET, C/C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with test automation in .NET, C/C++, Python, or Go.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows C++ development using the GoogleTest framework.
- Windows .NET Core development using PowerShell (with Pester) and/or C#.
- Experience with modern Windows, Linux, or ESX Server administration or architecture.
- Experience writing documentation, creating bug reports, and working with Jira.
- Networking skills applied to virtualized environment, e.g. virtual switches, VLAN, subnets.
- Experience with Security, data compression, and/or cryptographic protocols
- Experience with source control management tools (e.g., GIT, Gerrit, Gitlab, GitHub).

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
