Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel QAT) products is leading acceleration technology in the industry to address bottlenecks in information security and data compression related computing. It is widely used in various network infrastructures, cloud platforms and big data platforms. We are looking for a Device Driver Engineer to support our development of Windows Software for Intel QAT products.

As a Device Driver
Engineer, you
will:
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain Windows drivers and SDK for Intel QAT products.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, new feature development, unit testing, integration, and bug fixing.
- Willingness to take calculated risks and stretch to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with dynamic, multisite team environments.
- Analytical and logical problem-solving skills, creativity, and a strong aptitude to learn and be self-motivated.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience in Windows kernel mode
development.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Driver Framework.
- Experience with I/O device virtualization.
- 3+ years of experience in software performance optimization.
- 3+ years of experience with Security, data compression, and/or cryptographic protocols.
- 3+ years of experience in Google Test framework.
- 3+ years of experience with source control management tools (e.g., GIT, Gerrit, Gitlab, GitHub).

Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$149,020.00-$223,560.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
