Join Intel's
Programmable Solutions Group to create, build and deliver on the
future of FPGA technology. You will be part of a high-performance
Firmware team that has a culture of open communication,
empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success. As a DevOps
Engineer, you will be building out and growing our development and
release environment. This is not a traditional sysadmin /
operations role (i.e., deployments, ticket work, dashboarding,
monitoring, incident response). You will work hand-in hand with our
team of firmware developers to solve both developer-reported and
self-identified
problems.
Responsibilities:
- Build upon existing CI/CD framework and create extensions that help strengthen overall CI/CD model
- Design and maintain production monitoring systems
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
- Identify areas to improve service resiliency through techniques such as observability, performance/load testing, etc.
- Identify performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools
- Evaluate and manage application and environment security
- Cross-train with other team members
- Determine root-cause for all production level incidents and conduct RCA
Qualifications
- Bachelor 4+ years or Master of Science degree in Computer Science 2+ years of experience, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 4 or more years of DevOps industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of modern continuous development techniques and pipelines (Agile, CI/CD, Git, Artifactory)
Preferred Quals:
- Experienced in designing and delivering infrastructure solutions for reliability, high availability, performance, software maintainability, and operational excellence.
- Good working knowledge of Make utility and makefiles
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
