The High Density Modular Tester (HDMT) provides a breakthrough, massively parallel, low cost test technology for silicon validation and high volume manufacturing.

We're looking for motivated engineers who want to see their creative solutions used to test billions of Intel devices in the next decade.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Drive the direction of the development infrastructure for the HDMT SW team to enable best-in-class CI/CD and quality in SW development.
  •  Drive technology improvements to improve the developer experience and improve code quality and stability. This requires working closely with the development team to find the areas to improve, determine the solution path, and prioritizing the projects and deploying the solution.
  • Drive process improvements to create more reliable estimates of completion dates, increased organizational velocity, better integration with the larger organizational planning, and more robust software development. This involves working closely with the product owners, architects, and development teams to find the areas to improve, determine the solution path, and training the appropriate people on the processes.
  • Maintain software and hardware infrastructure including but not limited to Development systems, Build agents/servers, Source code repository, Ticketing system, Software licensing and forecasting needs for future.


 You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences .

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science and/or prolonged course of study in a specialized field.

5+ years of experience in the following:

  • Developing production quality application software in a Windows environment with C++ or C#.
  • Administration of a CI/CD tools such as Team City or Jenkins.

3+ years of experience in the following:

  • Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
  • Working with distributed source control management system such as git or mercurial.
  • Administration of agile project management tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and processes.
  • Solid understanding of Agile planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Windows system administration.
  • Agile ScrumMaster or Product Owner.
  • Understanding modern devops tools and concepts, ELK, Docker, Artifactory.
  • Azure DevOps administration and CMake experience.
  • Deep understanding of git.
  • Hardware design fundamentals will help you communicate with the larger organization.
  • Understanding hardware manufacturing process.
  • Post silicon testing experience.
