As part of the Intel DevOps Framework (IDF) team, you will work with best-in-class software and DevOps engineers to develop a large-scale build system to standardize DevOps processes across Intel. We are redefining how software is developed, integrated, and released to customers. You will be associated with cross org initiatives while influencing the software build process. We believe in the inner sourcing strategy of all of our work. As a result, we want to develop common build interfaces that will be reused by all other software teams at Intel. We are looking for an excellent software (Python) Developer with experience in DevOps frameworks. You should be passionate about writing clean code, taking pride in developing scalable systems with engineering practices, and having a focus on software architecture.

A successful candidate must demonstrate:

Excellent knowledge of object-oriented design.

Analytical and problem-solving skills and the willingness to troubleshoot challenging engineering problems.

Good communication and collaboration skills and demonstrate willingness and flexibility to work across organizations.

Qualifications

You must possess the education and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science or related STEM degree with 3+ years of industry experience, OR

Master's Degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science or related STEM degree with 2+ years of industry experience

Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in  Python development, Git, Software Design & Development

Preferred Qualifications:

Unit-testing frameworks like NUnit, PyUnit is a plus.
Tools like Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Antifactory is a plus.
Software design patterns and software refactoring is a plus.
DevOps domain is a plus.
Container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes are a plus.
Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS is a plus.
C# is a plus.
Ansible/Puppet/Splunk/ELK is a plus
