In this role you will
be responsible for supporting development teams compute
requirements and maintaining core infrastructure
systems
This includes topics such as system configuration
management, performance testing and tuning, and application and
service troubleshooting:
- Performs Linux HPC administration including installation, configuration, securing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Write tooling to automate tasks and implement/scale/test infrastructure services
- Interact with partner engineering teams across the organization to perform deep technical troubleshooting
- Develop and implement technical solutions and process improvements to improve reliability and efficiency
- Works closely with development and DevOps teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project
- Understands required security and IP scans, any third-party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position.
Experience listed below
would be obtained through a combination of your school-work/
classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship
experiences.
- Bachelors with 4+ years or Masters with 3+years
- Experience with Linux / Windows Systems Administration
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with architecture or implementation and operation of a Linux-based compute environment (CentOS, Ubuntu, SuSE, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the Linux OS, network and storage concepts
- Demonstrated experience in trouble shooting application issues across the SW stack
- Expertise in at least one scripting language like Shell, Bash, Python
- Experience configuring and/or utilizing monitoring/logging solution
- Familiar with security practices and platforms (e.g. encryption and/or certificates and/or key management and/or oAuth, LDAP)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
