As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages.

The Role:

You will lead, architect, design, and validate DFT for Test Chips that will include digital, analog, mixed-signal, IO, and memory sub-blocks.
You'll also work with external customers and internal teams in order to develop requirements for DFT and develop strategies for testing including driving the DFT capabilities through post-silicon. The DFT Lead will develop and support design for test (DFT) structures, determine design for test approaches and develop DFT architecture, designs and verifies DFT structures for memories (MBIST), digital and analog circuitry. You'll perform scan synthesis, create, simulate and verify automatic generated test patterns (ATPG), create functional tests and corresponding test patterns. This person knows about failure mechanisms in silicon production and creates test algorithms, and supports silicon bring up of test patterns, and performs diagnosis of test patterns on silicon and optimizes test time.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• BSEE with 9+ years OR MSEE with 7+ years of prior DFT experience

• DFx logic generation, integration and verification.

• Influencing and collaborating with multiple teams across Intel

• EDA vendor supported scan architectures and tools, covering synthesis, timing, DRC, ATPG, GLS and tester bring up.

Preferred:

• Leading teams through setting goals, schedule and staging plans along with tracking and enabling execution for team.
