The Digital Merchandising Specialist, NPI, will play a key role in the Global Digital Merchandising team, partnering with various partners across Apple to bring our New Product Introductions to life on the Apple Store Online. The right candidate must have demonstrated strong analytical skills, comfort using shopper-led, data driven insights, to inform innovative performance merchandising concepts. This role is highly collaborative, and we are looking for an experienced candidate to build, drive and execute an end-to-end attach and accessories merchandising strategy for NPI and Campaign moments.

Key Qualifications

  • 3-5 years digital merchandising or equivalent experience
  • Validated analytical and numerical aptitude; versed in site analytics and proficient in analyzing data for decision making
  • High attention to detail and obsesses over customer experience
  • Proven ability to influence across teams to drive innovation and results
  • Deep knowledge of the global retail industry and digital commerce trends
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization and planning
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness

Description
- Gather data analysis/insights from various sources including but not limited to; sales data, buy flow engagement metrics, customer chat and survey data, to inform Product Marketing discussions and the development of attach and accessories merchandising plans.
- Review all relevant Apple brand and 3PP accessories with Product Marketing teams and confirm compatibility with new products being introduced.
- Develop detailed Attach page, Bag, Momentum page, PDP, You Tab Attach recommendation plans for new hero models with input from Commercial Merchandising lead, Product Marketing and Product Merchandising teams.
- Develop accessories merchandising plans across countries, platforms and segments, incorporating the Accessories landing pages, and pinwheels.
- Understand segment, regional, seasonal nuances and create strategies to best optimize merchandising placements and platforms as appropriate.
- Update Ordinal Rank for relevant accessories as appropriate.
- Ensure rules and content setup for M-Zones via Merch Console.
- Participate in validation of content in staging reviews in order to execute flawless plans.
- Gather post launch insights to share takeaways with Product Marketing and Retail leadership, and make recommendations on adjustments or testing as appropriate.

Education & Experience

BA/BS required, MBA a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Regular meetings with peers in Asia and Europe during overlapping business hours.
  • Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work during critical time periods.
