Job Description
Interns can expect to gain exposure to work that supports the business needs for Digital Technologies (DT). As a member of the Digital Business Management team, interns will be critical to our success in delivering results in support of many initiatives such as:
  • Work with RMD DT employees to identify onboarding needs to maximize their retention within the organizations and provide all the resources they may need to be successful.
  • Coordinate with Business Level Onboarding programs including New Employee Orientation, New Employee Accelerator Program, and other such program to ensure RMD alignment and engagement as appropriate.
  • Support the DT Employee Onboarding program (Welcome Letters, New Hire resources, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Employee Resource Groups, Engagement Leads, DE&I Councils, and Human Resources to co-lead business level engagement events or advertise these events.
  • Remove barriers and create incentives for DT engagement creating networking opportunities.
  • Assist with updates to Employee Engagement internal shared webpage to share engagement and community information that is professional and attractive to employees.
  • Publish monthly Community Brief; where appropriate align materials to Heritage months. Include stories, DT achievements, acknowledgements and a little fun.
  • Suggest and implement engagement events for RMD DT employees (Book Clubs, Life Resources sessions, movie night, trivia, etc.).
  • Develop metrics to measure team performance
  • Create visual graphs and present them to DT Leadership Team to help drive critical decisions.
  • Sustain dashboards and new interactive tools to demonstrate team performance levels.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Masters degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or similar discipline
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

This position can be a Salary Grade ST02, ST03, ST04 or Salary Grade ST05 based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
  • ST02 (Sophomore Technical Intern) - must have completed 30 hours of college
  • ST03 (Junior Technical Intern) - must have completed 60 hours of college
  • ST04 (Senior Technical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
  • ST05 (Post GradTechnical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
