SoCs to be more seamless, collaborative and building upon each
other's strengths? If so, this is the place to

Chipsets Silicon Group's (CSG's) SoC
Front-end Design (SFD) organization is looking for a senior
technologist and people leader adept in
-
micro-architecture development at SoC level spanning
infrastructure, and IP decisions
- enabling and deploying
new validation methodologies and technologies for continuous
improvements in the world of pre-silicon
validation
You will lead a team of
design/microarchitecture and validation architecture experts to
steer through all aspects of SoC expertise spanning infrastructure
and flows (fabrics, Clocks and reset, PM, DFX/DFT, Security etc.),
IP selection/integration/roadmap, design quality checks and
methodologies, validation efficiencies etc.
Having a pulse
of external industry on new and innovative design and validation
methodologies will be a key advantage for this role.
As a
technical and people leader, you will be responsible for helping
shape CSG to continue to propel forward with your technical
recommendations and decisions. You will have a unique opportunity
of proactive collaboration with the design and validation community
in SFD's parent organization, CSG, and to improve and enhance
verifiable boundaries. You will be looked to and expected to push
the boundaries and drive continuous improvement.
You will
be the technical interface and will be an intrinsic part of the
decision makers that strategize on SoC microarchitecture and
validation for CSG's
products.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a BS in
Electrical or Computer Engineering with 12+ years of
experience or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with
10+ years of experience or PhD n Electrical or Computer
Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
The
ideal candidate for this role will need to have demonstrated
knowledge and proven depth and breadth of the technical skills
in
� SoC expertise as described above -
infrastructure, flows, IPs etc, and depth knowledge of how IPs fit
into SoC and platform level flows
� Design
quality checks and methodologies: experience with industry tools
for timing analysis, clock crossings, power, synthesis, Lint,
etc.
� Validation infrastructure with a good
grasp of System-Verilog (OVM, UVM) and validation
environments
� Proven leadership of design
and validation for multi-million gate ASIC/SOCs

Preferred Qualifications:
� Proven
experience delivering high quality SoCs, with specific focus on
architecture to implementation to maturity of quality
� 10+ years as a Product Architect and/or
Lead SoC Microarchitect and/or Platform Architect
� Expertise in Power Management, High Speed
IOs
� Ideal candidate combines a PE or Senior
PE level technologist background with a passion for leading and
growing senior technical
contributors
