Job Description:

  • Work with Product/Development organizations and all stakeholders to build the Next Gen Payroll platform support team and support process
  • Partner with Product Owners and Architects to ensure that the supportability is included in the platform's roadmap.
  • Provide guidance to the development of application support tools
  • Coordinate emergency patches and maintenance releases
  • Help triage production issues and provide feedback to improve testing automation, CI/CD and feature development
  • Lead the support team to resolve critical issues
  • Work with the implementation and service teams to improve clients' experience
  • Manage the support team and provide guidance to team members
  • Manage support duties including nights and weekends

 Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ year experience working through design, development and support of mission-critical applications.
  • 5+ years in managing software development and support teams
  • Solid knowledge of HCM and/or payroll application
  • Solid understanding of SDLC with agile development experience
  • Outstanding leadership, project and people management skills
  • A track record of successful delivery of software applications as a tech lead or team lead
  • Experience in development and support of SaaS and cloud-based applications
  • Experience in both front-end and back-end programming using modern technologies and frameworks
  • Experience with web services and REST
  • Experience with testing automation frameworks and DevOps such as CI/CD
  • Solid understanding and experience of/in relational and non-relational databases
  • Willingness and ability to dive into any application/environment to resolve technical issues

  • Ability to work under critical delivery timelines
  • Creative thinking in proactive production support
