Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join and lead an IP Performance Simulation and Modelling team within the IP Engineering Group (IPG). IPG develops IPs that enable the creation of Intel products. As a Director of IP Performance Simulation Architecture, you will be casting a vision for IP Performance Simulation and directing the development and execution of IP Simulation Models using a cutting-edge approach that will drive our next generation IP architecture decisions. You will direct and manages a team of software engineers and architects responsible for the development and/or validation of IP Simulation Software over multiple areas of the software lifecycle, including design, development, validation, debug, optimization, customer engagement, and/or product support. This opportunity will combine your technical knowledge of IP and SOC Architecture, Performance Model development, interactions with firmware and software together with your leadership skills in order to deliver a high quality IP Simulation models.Responsibilities- Technical leader looking to set the foundation and role model for a high-performing team where members are encouraged to be successful and grow- Drive pathfinding and technical requirement definition for IP Performance Models with emphasis on the newest Fabric, I/O, and memory technologies.- Determines architecture design, logic design, and IP-level simulation.- Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation and performance modeling in software.- Simulation and performance modeling for IPs.- Evolving capabilities for hardware/software co-design supporting key usages.- Improving seamless model and simulator interoperability for multiple internal partners with differing needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications
for an Ideal Candidate:- Must have a Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer
Science or equivalent field.- Your experience should include
multiple of the following:- SoC Architecture, SOC Subsystem
Architecture, IP Architecture and/or Microarchitecture definition-
Simulation and Performance Modelling- Software development in
SystemC, C, C++ or Domain Specific Language modeling- Workload
analysis- Leading Software Development teamsMinimum Criteria:-
Combined 10+ years SoC or IP Design/Architecture, Performance
Modelling and/or Firmware Development/Architecture experience.- 5+
years SoC Architecture, SOC Subsystem Architecture, IP Architecture
and/or Microarchitecture definition.- 5+ years SOC or IP-level
modeling and methodology development.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which

$180,010.00-$287,450.00

Work Model for this Role
