In this role, the Director of Claims & Risk Control will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing the activities related to corporate insurance programs and risk control planning. 


These activities include; but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating and preparing applications for corporate insurance renewals;
  • Coordinating loss control services provided by insurers, auditing claims files with a heavy emphasis on Errors & Omissions, Auto Liability, and Workers' Compensation coverages and claims.
  • This position is responsible for executing procedures that support all corporate insurance programs in accordance with renewal timelines, methodology, and standards.
  • Daily, you will cultivate relationships and work with internal and external business partners, assess internal partner needs and coordinate with external partners to find the best solutions.
  • Manage Total Cost of Risk through claims management and implementing risk control programs.
  • Spend your time participating in renewal strategy meetings, working with our broker partners in preparing insurance submissions and negotiating insurance renewal, conducting claim reviews, and coordinating risk control efforts (ergonomic training, indoor air quality testing, driver safety programs, etc.).
  • Work closely with internal partners to assess coverage needs, issue insurance documentation, and timely processing of invoices.  
  • Work collaboratively with the team, attention to detail, ability to provide detailed timely responses, ability to collect and analyze renewal data and work with our brokers to negotiate renewals.
  • Integrity, resilience, and positivity are must-haves in this job.
  • You will work independently and collaboratively as part of the risk management teams to manage select insurance renewals, manage claims and drive safety within ADP.

You will experience difficult insurance renewals and manage escalation of issues by providing direction or resolution options. This position will require travel for select meetings.



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 8 years of experience.
  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Solid business writing skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership.
  • Must be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
