Client Domain Architecture and Strategies (CDAS) is leading domain
architecture with direct, strategic impacts on client product

CDAS
is hiring a staff hardware engineer to work as part of
a highly dynamic and diverse display domain team to define future
display architecture and technologies for client products, as well
as collaborate with internal and external partners to drive
end-to-end product development including deployment of Intel's
display IP. You will work with cross-group stakeholders distributed
globally, requiring schedule flexibility to attend evening meetings
and occasional travel.
Your responsibilities
will include but not limited to:
Working closely with
product architects, segment stakeholders and user-experience team
to define IP requirements for each SOC generation.
Working
closely with silicon/IP providers to comprehend IP requirements and
evaluate necessary tradeoffs including but not limited to die size
and power impacts
Participating in product planning and
strategy reviews and discussion, as well as collaborate with
platform validation teams to drive testing requirements and
procedures.
Collaborating with cross-group stakeholders to
drive technological ingredient readiness is part of the platform
build deliverables for our
customers.
A
successful candidate will demonstrate:
Deep display IP
knowledge with ability to work effectively and collaboratively with
stakeholders and
partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to adept at working collaboratively with external stakeholders and representing Intel outside the company.
Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer
Architecture/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Science /Graphics
Computation, or similar discipline, or
Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Architecture/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Science /Graphics Computation, or similar discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in developing new display architecture or micro-architecture; OS and driver software knowhow is a plus.
Ability to
prioritize competing tradeoffs with technical analysis of industry
technological trends and competing ideas.
Technical
insight of display module and its display electronics is also
preferred.
