Responsibilities:
The Division VP of Healthcare Product Innovation is a key leadership role that works very closely with Performants Healthcare division business leaders to define, develop, and implement enhancements and new transformative audit and eligibility cost containment capabilities and services. This role provides thought leadership, consultative input, and recommendations across business service groups, and drives a wide variety of activities and initiates aimed identifying and building new value-add solutions from clients needs and market gaps that align with the companys fiscal performance requirements and healthcare business objectives. 

Essential Duties
Applies entrepreneurial attitude and approach focusing on emerging and innovative solutions, demonstrating experience recognizing impact of internal and external factors on business strategies.
Leverages strong industry leadership background, well-rounded operational experience, and subject matter expertise in healthcare cost containment to deliver results developing and implementing innovative service products. 
Spearhead review, refinement, and enhancement of Performants audit and eligibility cost containment service offerings, deliverables, and related production capabilities to establish and maintain best-in-class services across lines of business.
Conduct research and analysis deciphering a multitude of broad internal and external data inputs to realize what is most important to clients, industry trends, and market service gaps in an evolving industry.  
Maintain current competitive and emerging market insights, trends, and outside thought leadership visibility. 
Clearly communicate issues and opportunities as well as develop actionable recommendations that drive growth and ensure achievement of organizations stated objectives.
Iteratively develop recommendations outcome-oriented data-driven strategies and solutions to broaden service offerings leveraging Performants unique technologies and analytics, methodologies, and subject matter expertise.
Develop business case for enhancements and new product/services proposals, including market opportunity/needs assessment, cost/benefit analysis, and financial/operational impacts. 
Effectively present and socialize opportunities with internal key leadership stakeholders.  
Provide key insights and observations to business stakeholders that contribute to the refinement and enhancement of existing approaches, methodologies, and tools. 
Collaborate with business leaders to implement new service offerings. 
Contribute to development of approaches, tools, and activities for communicating new service offerings to existing and prospective clients. 
Monitor implemented enhancements and new product offerings to ensure milestones and expected outcomes are achieved; as well as collaborate with leaders in refinement and continuous improvement efforts. 
May directly or indirectly lead and/or manage teams, providing coaching and development. 
Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

Demonstrated proficiency in technology (MS Office, Intermediate to Advance skills in Excel and data modeling applications), complex data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting skills as required for position.

Applies excellent interpersonal skills both in one-on-one situations and in larger group meetings.

Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.

 Completion of Teleworker Agreement upon hire, and adherence to the Agreement (and related policies and procedures) including, but not limited to able to navigate computer and phone systems as a user to work remote independently using on-line resources, must have high-speed internet connectivity, appropriate workspace able to be compliant with HIPAA, safety & ergonomics, confidentiality, and dedicated work focus without distractions during work hours.

Physical Requirements
Performs duties in a busy standard office environment with moderate noise level (or home-based Telework environment in accordance with Company policies and procedures).
Sits or stands at a desk, reaching as needed to use office equipment.
Makes and returns calls using an office phone system or company issued cellular phone.
Views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard, and uses a mouse.
Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed).
Types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard and mouse.
Occasionally lifts/carries/pushes/pulls up to 10 pounds.
Travel as required to meet business needs.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
15+ years of relevant Healthcare cost containment experience in multiple companies including roles with significant leadership responsibility.
Extensive knowledge of and experience with operational and quality assurance practices related to healthcare audit and eligibility cost containment.
Extensive experience working with Healthcare payers and related regulatory bodies, and current industry events and trends.
