We are seeking highly qualified Software
Validation Engineers with expertise in a vRAN and/or communication
service provider

Provider
(CSP) environment to join our world class
Ethernet Product Group (EPG) under Connectivity Group. You will
join a best-in-class validation team relentlessly driving the
highest quality of EPG products via continuous improvement,
learning and a mindset towards customer
excellence.
In this role, your daily agenda will
be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, it includes but is
not limited to:

Strategizing test approaches to achieve optimization of the
resource and
coverage
-
Reviewing and analyzing the requirement documents and architecture
specifications to understand the product
-
Interacting with marketing and architecture teams to understand the
scalability and performance aspects and customer use cases
-
Define coverage, create, and maintain Test
plans
-
Develop automation strategy, apply state of the art automation
technology to automate and execute test
cases
-
Manage manual testing via Oversea Development Center (ODC) Debug
failures and file defect
sightings
Qualifications
Candidates
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed below
would be obtained through a combination of Industry job relevant
experience, internship experiences and or
schoolwork/classes/research
Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in validation and debug of Network
centric software
. 6 + experience with software
testing and test methodology (i.e., functional, integration, user
scenarios/use case, regression, or performance testing)
- 3+ years of Python programming experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of
experience in 5G Architecture Technologies (e.g. vRAN)
-
5+ years of experience with DPDK and/or SPDK
-
5+ years of experience with Virtualization, especially
SR-IOV
- 5+ years of experience with Real Time
OS
- 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes and
Containers

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
