We are
seeking highly qualified SW Validation Engineers to join our world
class Ethernet Product Group (EPG) under Connectivity Group. You
will join a best-in-class validation team relentlessly driving the
highest quality of EPG products via continuous improvement,
learning and a mindset towards customer
excellence.
In this role, your daily
agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, it
includes but is not limited
to:
- Reviewing and analyzing the requirement documents and architecture specifications to understand the product
- Interacting with marketing and architecture teams to understand the scalability and performance aspects and customer use cases
- Define coverage, create, and maintain Test plans
- Develop automation strategy, applying state of the art automation technologies to automate test cases and execute
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/class projects and or research
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ months experience with software development process and/or test methodology
- 3+ months of scripting language such as Python scripting or object oriented design/programming language
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher is preferred
- Experience in validation and/or debug of Network centric software
- Experience with various testing tools such as packet analyzers etc.
- Familiarity with Ethernet Technologies
- Experience in 5G Architecture Technologies (e.g. vRAN)
- Familiarity with DPDK and/or SPDK
- Familiarity with Real Time OS
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Containers

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
